North Wales, Pa. Open Floor Concept Remodel
This home, like many found in the North Wales, Pa., area built in the same period, featured a tiny kitchen, compartmentalized dining room, and a small living room. By removing unnecessary walls and relocating the kitchen to where the old formal dining room was, we transformed this home into a livable, lovable space.
And by reworking the main entry, we were able to give this home a more natural flow. The doorway next to the built-in floor-to-ceiling storage didn’t exist previously. In its place was a solid wall that blocked off most of the house from the entry. Now the homeowners are greeted by a full view of their home when the come home, providing a much more efficient use of space and enables the homeowners to get more enjoyment from their home.
