Lansdale, PA Home Remodel
First Floor Updates
The main goal was to create an open-concept design by removing walls to combine the kitchen and dining room into a single, spacious area. The kitchen was expanded into the former dining room, allowing for a larger footprint with a central island featuring a wood countertop. Custom painted cabinetry with a decorative hood was installed, along with quartz countertops and a full-height quartz backsplash, except in the display area, where a tile backsplash was used for variation. Additional windows were added to bring in more natural light.
In the family room, the dark brick fireplace surround was removed and replaced with windows on either side, along with moldings for the hearth and mantel. The wood-burning fireplace was converted to gas for convenience. All carpeting was removed to create a more modern look.
Throughout the first floor, hardwood flooring and recessed lighting were installed. Interior and exterior doors were replaced, and interior openings were widened for better flow. The powder room was also updated to match the new aesthetic.

Second Floor Updates
The primary suite was expanded through an addition, creating space for a larger bedroom, bathroom, closet, and a new sitting room. The bedroom was enlarged and updated with hardwood flooring and recessed lighting.
The primary bathroom was redesigned to maximize space, featuring a larger shower with a built-in seat, a more spacious vanity, and improved lighting. The tub was removed to create a more open layout. A custom closet system was installed for better organization.
Above the garage, a sitting room was created as part of the primary suite. Designed as a cozy retreat, it includes a gas fireplace and a TV area. The hall bath was also updated with modern finishes and fixtures.
This remodel successfully modernized the home while improving functionality, flow, and overall aesthetic appeal. The homeowners now feel as though they are living in a custom-built home. The improved space and high-quality finishes have enhanced their daily lives, and they were surprised by the impact that quality materials and thoughtful design have had on their home experience.
